What Induction Frying Pan do you recommend?

Posting date: 14th January 2010 14:13

Induction frying pans are getting more and more popular, with more and more induction versions of standard pan brands being introduced into the market.

All the frying pans that we sell that are suitable for induction can be found at the following: http://www.the-frying-pan.co.uk/productclass.php/class__869__Induction+Frying+Pan

In terms of what I would recommend, I have to say that all of them are good. The usual differences between the brands apply, whether they are induction or non induction versions. It is just the base is different. So I would suggest you read the details in the information section of the site (see bottom of LH menu) to choose between stainless steel or cast iron, non stick or not, etc etc.

If you are asking whether any one brand works better on a induction hob compared to another, just in terms of how well the induction part works, I have to say that I have had no feedback on that score at all. No customers have said that an induction pan does not work, so I believe that everyone is happy. One note of caution on that. I do know that the dimensions of the base of an induction pan can be quite important in terms of activating a specific hob. Each induction hob has instructions as to the kind of pan that should be used on it and I would read this carefully before choosing a brand.
