Swiss Diamond Induction Cookware on Electric Hobs

Q Please could you tell me if Swiss Diamond induction frying pans can be used on ordinary electric rings. Last year I bought a small Swiss Diamond frying pan, have used it regularly and have found it fantastic. Now I want to buy a larger pan. However, before long I shall have to replace my cooker and might well land up with an induction hob. Obviously, I don't want to buy an ordinary SD pan and then not to be able to use it when I update. If it is possible to use an induction pan on an ordinary ring, are there any drawbacks? Please can you help. Thank you
A Hi, thankyou for your enquiry. There are no drawbacks to using Swiss Diamond Induction Cookware on an electric hob. If or when you change to an induction hob, then the cookware will work. The only possible problem comes when using Swiss Diamond cookware on gas hobs first. Sometimes this can damage the magnetised crystals on the base of the pan and this can reduce the pans performance when subsequently used on an induction hob. But this is not a problem with electric hobs.
