Demeyere Frying Pan Control Induc

Q I read newspaper article in 'FOOD' SECTION, referring to NON-STICK PANS. I am aware of not too high heat in nonstick pans. The Demeyere Conrol Induc recommended. Please help. I would like to consider purchasing a 8 or 9 inch non-stick pan.
A Thankyou for your enquiry. Yes, the control induc is an excellent idea as it avoids the problem of overheating food in a non stick pan. The control induc only works on an induction hob, but I am sure you will have understood this.
One thing to explain to you relates to the non stick coating. Currently on our site we have details of the multi glide non stick coating. This is Demeyere's standard coating which has been used for some time. Here is the link:

However, Demeyere have just decided to replace the multiglide with a ceramic Thermalon coating which is the same as the Green Pan top Thermalon coating. Personally, I do not think that the ceramic coating is as good or as easy to use so I will not be selling the upgraded pans. Having sold a couple to customers recently, the feedback has been poor. However, we do have a 20cm and 24cm pan with the standard multiglide coating in stock if you would like to order this. If you would like to go ahead, just place your order using the link above.
Let me know if you need any more information. If you need a guide on why everyone is talking about ceramic non stick, here is a link to our guide:
and also a blog on the same subject (my recent decision to not sell the Thermalon coating is later than most entries on the blog on the same subject).:
Hope all is clear as it is a complicated subject!
Best wishes - Claire
