Where has Swiss Diamond cookware gone?

I am sorry to say that Swiss Diamond cookware is hard to find at the moment. The current UK importer has stopped importing - as I understand it, this is because the cost price has gone up considerably, with all the implications that this has for the likely number of sales.

However, the latest news is that either Swiss Diamond will supply me direct or a new importer will be set up. I have yet to hear conclusively. Personally, I am a great believer in the brand. I use a Swiss Diamond Frying pan 32cms as my kitchen workhorse. I rush in from work at 6pm with 2 hungry kids dying for their dinner and cook in a rush. So its a hardy pan that can withstand metal utensils which does it for me. I haven't used a better one than my current Swiss Diamond. I don't think it is as non stick as the manufacturer's suggest, as it does cook better with some oil so for scrambled egg or omelettes etc I use a Gastrolux saucepan or frying pan without any fat. But for sheer hardiness of the non stick surface, Swiss Diamond is outstanding.

So in conclusion, I am doing my best to get more Swiss Diamond pans imported into the UK!
