The Healthy Frying Pan
Rather than traditional non stick which includes PTFE (used in Teflon for example), Gastrolux use a patented high tech surface called Biotan. Liquid forms droplets on the pan surface like water on a plant leaf. This avoids the potentially carcinogenic fumes that many believe PTFE gives off at high temperatures.
The Biotan works so well it is non stick WITHOUT the use of oils - so fat enjoy free cooking, too!
