These are Swiss Diamond's published guidelines.

Before first use Wash the cookware thoroughly with hot, soapy water, rinse and dry well. Season the non stick surface by applying a light coating of cooking oil, using a paper towel.

Use low to medium heat High heat is never necessary because of the high thermal conductivity of Swiss Diamond. Start with a medium heat, then reduce to low if necessary. Always put the pan in the centre of the heating surface.

Pre-heating If recommended in a recipe, then pre heat the pan on medium heat for 2 -3 minutes before adding the food. To test if the pan is hot enough, just sprinkle a few drops of water on the surface. If the water beads or sizzles, then the pan is ready. If it evaporates immediately, then the pan is too hot. You should turn the heat down and remove it . Never pre-heat an empty pan for more than 2 -3 minutes as this can damage the cooking surface

NB - Swiss Diamond is designed for healthier cooking and allows you to use little or no oil

Oven Use Cookware is oven safe up to 260 degrees centigrade (500 degrees F). The handles get hot in these conditions so always use oven gloves when removing from the oven

Cleaning Use hot soapy water. Do not use abrasive detergents, oven cleaners or scourers. You CAN use a dishwasher but we recommend washing by hand as the harsh, caustic dishwasher cleaners may reduce the non-stick performance over time.

To maintain the attractive appearance and cooking efficiency of the cookware, ensure that it is thoroughly cleaned after each use. If not properly maintained a thin layer of food or grease my become carbonised when reheated and cause food to stick.

Utensils The cookware is metal utensil safe. Avoid chopping or cutting food in the pan. Do not use an electric beater in the pan.

Storage If nesting the pans one on top of the other, we recommend placing a paper towel between each pan.

Limited lifetime warranty Swiss Diamond warrants to the original owner of the cookware that it is free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. the Swiss Diamond non-stick surface is guaranteed not to crack, blister or peel. If properly prepared, maintained and cleaned, the efficiency of the non-stick will give you a lifetime of unsurpassed non-stick performance. This warranty does not cover glass lids or handles.

Swiss Diamond will repair, replace, at Swiss Diamond's discretion, any item found to be defective. Should the defective item no longer be available for whatever reason, an item of similar function and value will be substituted. This warranty is expressly not a money-back guarantee.

The warranty does not cover damage or destruction caused by misuse, abuse, accident, overheating, alterations or commercial use. It does not cover stains, discoloration, scratch marks or dents. It does not apply if the Care and Maintenance instructions have not be followed. Incidental or consequential damages are expressly excluded.
