Mauviel MHeritage Cookware
Copper pans can look absolutely beautiful but need a little care to retain their shine. We recommend using proper cleaners in order to clean with ease.
Never use steel wool or bleach
Never leave any piece of cookware empty on the heat
Clean using Mauviel Copperbrill or other good quality copper cleaning products - this removes the tarnishing which can occur over time.
Alternatively, use a paste of salt and lemon juice to remove any tarnishing
Dry your cookware immediately after rinsing it to avoid any drip marks being left and dulling the shine
Dishwasher safe but this can accelerate the tarnishing process
Alternatively, hand wash in warm, soapy water
Suitable for all hob types except ceramic halogen (induction)
Here are some general Mauviel guidelines, published by the Australian agents for Mauviel Mauviel guidelines
"In order to keep your pans in the best condition and under warranty (non commercial use), do not use high heat for a long period of time. Do not leave empty pan on a heated burner for an extended period of time . Do not clean in the dishwasher. Do not use metal utensils on the non-wtok cooking surface.
The use of scouring pads, steel wool, abrasive cleansers, bleach and/or oven cleaners is not recommended and can scartch or damage or damage your cookware. Misuse of your cookware will void your lifetime warranty. Bleach will erode the stainless steel interior and should not be used on any Mauviel cookware."
